Mark H. Cross

Mark is a native of Virginia with a master's degree in American history from George Mason University.   He has worked for Santa Fe public schools, written book reviews for The New Mexican, and worked as a proofreader and editor for the New Mexico Legislature.  He began compiling the Encyclopedia of Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico soon after moving to Santa Fe in 1996.

Mark lives on Santa Fe's Westside with Beth Nommensen and their two dogs.
